First/ second person narrative.
My friend, she goes to a different college to me, was telling me the other day that at hers people got bullied by the way they looked even when there was nothing wrong with them. I was thinking that's just what happened at my college, I should know because I get teased but I should do as my body is like a beached whale, fat and unnatural, NOT COOL!
I did some research on de web the other day and what I found out was 1/4 of secondary school girls are picked on for being TOO pretty - don't know whether to be jealous or not :S. People are also being bullied because they're not pretty enough, but how do you know if you are "pretty enough", is there a book that everyone else has but me??
Third person narrative
A survey shows that children as young as 10 years old feel under pressure to have the "Perfect" body, which puts them at risk of anorexia.

Healing tool
In photoshop I used the healing tool on David Beckham to get rid of the shiny forehead and nose and to get rid of the wrinkles in the forehead, eyes and elsewhere.
InDesign Magazine cover and double spread
<-Double page spread
I made a cover and double page magazine spread on InDesign. I did my cover and double page on a well known actress at the time, Jennifer Lawrence, I did my magazine mainly on her because she is well known and is the main character in the popular movie "Hunger Games". My magazine is targeted at 15-19 year old females, this is scene though the subtitles going across the front cover, they are mostly all based on fashion and beauty. The colour code is red and white, I chose red because it gives the connotation of hot and power which is what the readers as well as Jennifer Lawrence, herself, want to gain.
Santa's little helpers CD cover
For in the Christmas spirit I created a CD cover using the brushes and fonts I downloaded. The brushes I downloaded were the stars, reindeer, Christmas tree, antlers and the snowman. I chose the scenery to be a midnight scene with reindeer flying across the sky, over the snowy ground and trees. I picked the colour code for the text to be green and red as they are traditional Christmas colours and I picked a font that had snow on top to link in with the snowy scenery.

Photoshop Vampire
Photoshop Vampire
Taking an image of a innocent girl and turning her into a vampire with blood dripping from her mouth is one of the tutorial in photoshop.
In this tutorial I learnt how to use the dodge tool, which gave the skin a deathly grey colour tone to her. After turning the skin grey, we used the burn tool to turn her lips and eyes darker and give an unnatural look to them. To make the fangs we used the free transform on the two teeth to stretch them into fangs, and we then used the blood brush and placed them where you wanted to put them.

My Blink Magazine Cover
My Blink magazine cover
What I tried to create here is a magazine cover through photoshop. The target audience was age 14-19 years old and for people who are are interested in music and the music industry.
I used the colour code cream, pink and blue as it's the stereotypical favourite colours for male and female. I made it eye catching though making the eye-catching photo the main attraction with the head-title of the magazine a contrasting colour to the image so it's stands out and also makes it eye-catching.
I used an images of the right now hot singer/band to make it appealing to the target audience, such as Lawson and "Emma Corbett" with a taste of the juicy gossip, to make the audience want to buy the magazine.
The pose I made Emma do is a side, medium close up shot, to give a sweet innocent look which goes with the style of her music. The quote taken from the interview backs up the innocent image, "I use to only sing in front of my teddy bears".
